Tory Burch In Color: The Book
The Tory Burch Book:
In her first book, Tory Burch explores what living in color means to her. She sees world in color, inspired by people, places, and ideas—all of which influence her brand, Tory Burch, which is synonymous with prints and color.
Each color featured in this beautiful coffee table book is brought to life through images of her Tory Burch’s own collections and travels; how she entertains; style icons; the works of artists, authors, and interior designers she admires; and the advice of business leaders—many of whom are interviewed within.
The book also offers a glimpse into the more personal moments in Tory Burch’s life, such as family trips with her boys or the ways in which her parents, Buddy and Reva Robinson, influenced the Tory Burch collection, company, and philosophy.
The book started out as a chapter book but ended up being divided into eleven sections, each section featuring a color. Inspirations include red flowers on a Rajasthan temple, green box tree hedges, and artists like Matisse, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst and Lucio Fontana.
The Tory Burch book goes on sale on October 14, 2014, and 100% of the gross proceeds received by Tory Burch LLC from the sale of this book will benefit the Tory Burch Foundation.
